Ana Raquel Neves completed the bachelor¿s degree in Biochemistry in 2017 and master¿s in biotechnology in 2019 at the University of Beira Interior (Covilhã ¿ Portugal). Is currently doing the Ph.D. in Biomedicine since 2019 in CICS-UBI - Health Sciences Research Centre at the University of Beira Interior in collaboration with the Department of Biology & CESAM at University of Aveiro, the Cancer Research Centre at the University of Salamanca and the Engineering Research Institute of Aragon (I3A) at the University of Zaragoza. At a scientific level, her main research activity is related with the development of co-delivery systems for cancer gene therapy. Ana R. Neves works since her master¿s project with peptide-based systems to treat cervical and glioblastoma cancer. Her Ph.D. his supported by a FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology) doctoral fellowship since 2021. She counts with several chapters, reviews and original papers published and experienced laboratory students supervision and Biotechnology and Biomaterials practical classes teaching.
