Ricardo Costa obtained his Ph.D. in Science and Engineering of Polymers and Composites from the University of Minho in 2020. His research mainly concerns the development of novel numerical methods and computer algorithms for highly accurate, reliable, and efficient numerical simulations in high-performance computing platforms, and their application in the fields of computational fluid dynamics and computational rheology for materials processing and manufacturing technologies.
