After I concluded the degree in Geological and Mining Engineering in 2017 and the MSc in 2018, I've been part of several field campaigns for UAV image acquisition and later data processing, namely the 2019 Portuguese Polar campaign in the Antarctic Peninsula (King George Island) and the ALTITUD3's campaigns in the Tagus basin (Santarém). Therefore I’ve become acquainted with several UAV models (Phantom 3, Phantom 4 and Matrice 600 pro), image acquisition apps (DJI GS Pro, DJI GO, DJI GO 4 and Pix4Dcapture) and image processing and geographical information systems software ( ENVI, AGISOFT Metashape and ArcGIS).
