Daniel de Almeida Vasconcelos Rodrigues is a researcher in AEROG - Aeronautics and Astronautics Research Center, a research unit of LAETA - Associated Laboratory for Energy, Transports and Aeronautics. He concluded his master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 2018 at the University of Beira Interior. He received a master scholarship in AEROG, from March to August of 2019, with the main objective of numerically studying the impact of droplets onto thin liquid films in the scope of the project BiSI - Biofuel Spray Impact in Aero-Engines. Currently, he is a PhD student in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Beira Interior. His PhD is focused on the experimental and numerical study of droplets impacting heated liquid films, which is supported by a PhD scholarship by FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia). He has 3 papers published in scientific journals and 14 papers in international conferences.
