I completed my BSc in Biology in 2015 and my MSc in Marine Sciences in 2018 at the University of Lisbon. I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams on projects such as Hg-Planktartic, RESTAURA2020, OPTOX, MarCODE, and REVINE (ongoing). Additionally, I worked as a research fellow on projects including RhizoMiS – Redesigning the rhizosphere microbiome of Salicornia for the exploitation of bioproducts and improvement of bioprocesses (2020–2021) and AQUA-PROSPECT – Prospection and Mapping of Aquaculture Areas Free from Toxins and Emerging Contaminants (2021–2023). My research spans diverse areas, including plant physiology, PGPB bioaugmentation, multi-elemental signatures, and marine biopesticides. I have experience with a variety of analytical techniques, including GC-FID, UPLC-MS, TXRF, PAM fluorometry, and spectrophotometry, among others. As a result of my work, I have published 14 articles (4 as the main author and 10 as a co-author) and presented 5 posters at international conferences. Currently, I am enrolled in an FCT-funded PhD program in Biology at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, with the project "Promoting Grapevine Systemic Resistance to Plasmopara viticola with Marine Bacteria Consortia: Physiological and Molecular Insights." This project is being developed at the MARE and BioISI laboratories of the University of Lisbon, complemented by facilities at the Faculties of Biology and Pharmacy of the University of Seville.
