I, Joana Pinto da Costa, hold a degree in Biomedical Pharmacy since 2016 from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra and a Master degree in Public Health (MPH) since 2019 from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. During the MPH I did a three-month mobility period (Erasmus + traineeship) at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Before enrolling on the Master, I chose to carry out an individual mobility period in order to improve the ability to communicate in English, - essential for the MPH and the carrier that I aspire to - for 6 months I was an Au pair in Liverpool, United Kingdom. Currently, I am a research fellow, member of EPIUnit - Research Unit in Epidemiology and member of the Internal Scientific Committee of the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto (ISPUP). Since September 2019, I have been collaborating with the strategy "Porto, Cidade Sem Sida", of which ISPUP is technical and scientific coordinator. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been working with the Association of Schools of Public Health of the European Region (ASPHER), since April 2020. Being also a member of the ASPHER Young Professionals (YP)Task-force for COVID-19, since May 2020.
