Completed a Master's degree in Sustainable Local Development Management in 2015 at the University of Pernambuco, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2006 at the Frassinetti College of Recife and a Latu Sensu Postgraduate Diploma - MBA in Environmental Planning and Management in 2010 at the University of Pernambuco. PhD student in Public Policy at the University of Aveiro, with funding from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and linked to the research units Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policy (GOVCOPP) and the Centre for Marine and Environmental Sciences (MARE). Is a collaborator with the Atlantic International Research Centre, from where she is currently on study leave. Has several publications, such as book chapters, reports, booklets, journal articles, conference abstracts and a repository. In addition to designing, editing and organising working documents, such as a policy brief. Has organised events and participated in oral and poster presentations, round tables and workshops. Also has been a member of management committees on various projects and has worked as a manager, researcher, facilitator and in technical roles. The career is based on management and public policy, with a focus on sustainable development, environmental planning and governance, marine protected areas and conservation of marine ecosystems.
