Associate Professor of Marketing, with tenure, at Nova SBE since 15th March 2012. Previously at ISCTE Business School (University Institute of Lisbon). She received her PhD in Marketing from Warwick Business School, England. Carmen's research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management and European Journal of Marketing. She is one of the Academic Directors of the Leadership for Impact Center. Current research interests include Organizational Capabilities (Innovation and Learning), Hybrid Org., Social Marketing, and Social Intrapreneurship and Entrepreneurship. Carmen has been in medical leave of absence from December 2014 to November 2015. She was in sabbatical during the academic year of 2018-2019.
