Jorge Manuel Neves Carrega

Jorge Manuel Neves Carrega. Completed PhD in Communication, Culture and Arts in 2014 by Universidade do Algarve, Masters in Literature (2009 - Universidade do Algarve) and graduated in Portuguese Studies (1999 - Universidade do Algarve). He's a Researcher in Universidade do Algarve, Invited Assistant Professor in FCHS- Universidade do Algarve, Member of the General Council of Universidade do Algarve and Member of CIRA - Conselho de Inovação Regional do Algarve in CCDR. He is a board member of the Portuguese Association of Moving Image Researchers (AIM) and Coordinator of the Film Studies Research Group at CIAC. His academic activity includes the organization of scientific events, editorial work and the critical evaluation and dissemination of research outputs with a strong emphasis on knowledge transfer and public engagement in cultural heritage and film and media studies.
