I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from FCTUC (University of Coimbra) and a Master's in Cell and Molecular Biology, with a focus on Neurobiology, from FCTUC and CNC (Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology). During my Bachelor's, I interned in the Group Photonics and Reactivity at the Chemistry Department, University of Coimbra. Subsequently, I received a BIC scholarship in the Group Macromolecules, Colloids, and Photochemistry in the same Department. In my Master's, I did lab rotations in CIBIT (Coimbra Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Translational Research) and in the Group Data-Driven Molecular Design at CNC, where I broadened my expertise by exploring computational techniques, resulting in the production of my thesis dissertation. Currently I'm a Fellow Researcher in the Gene and Stem Cell Therapies for the Brain Group, where I contribute to the design and development of novel AAV capsids for enhanced tropism. In addition to my academic journey, I collaborated with Kosmicare Association and Kykeon Analytics, contributing to drug policy and analysis at events in Portugal. I'm driven by a passion for interdisciplinary research and a commitment to scientific advancement and societal well-being.
