Isa Silva obtained a degree in Physiotherapy from the School of Health – Polytechnic of Porto in 2017. She worked for four years as a physiotherapist in various clinical contexts. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto and is a research fellow in the project “NeurodegCoV19: Neurodegenerative complications after COVID-19 (PTDC/SAU-EPI/6275/2020)”. She integrates the “Cognitive impairment in diseases involving the nervous system” Lab at the ITR – Laboratory for Integrative and Translational Research in Population Health. Her main research interest is related to the study of preventive interventions related to non-communicable diseases, with a special interest in the topic of cognitive impairment.
