I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from 2015 to 2018 in the University of Algarve, Portugal, with a final grade of 15/20. From 2018 to 2021, I completed a Master of Science degree in Microbial and Molecular Biology by University of Algarve, Portugal, with a final grade of 16. During the master thesis, I took part on the project GreenTreat: An Integrated, Sustainable Process for the Tertiary Treatment of Urban Wastewater using Microalgae in the Algarve region (Portugal), as a team member of MarBiotech group at CCMAR (University of Algarve, Portugal). During academic years, I acquired expertise in experimental planning, tasks management, communication, and teamwork. Since 2022 until the present, I became an investigator at the Centre of Biological Engineering at University of Minho, Braga, Portugal. In the research line of Environmental Biotechnology and Bioengineering and as a team member of the project BIOECONORTE - "Water and nutrients management based on BIOrefinery and circular ECOnomy towards a sustainable agri-food system of the NORTE of Portugal", my work is focused at the "Optimization of phosphorus recovery from agri-industry wastewater. Overall, my work is emphasized on solving enviromental problems by means of biological or environmental engineering, biotechnology, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, or even (bio)informatic. This statement can be backed up by 4 scientific publications, 3 posters, and a entry-level Python certificate. In December 2022, I participated in a fellowship in Moldova co-funded by Erasmus+ Program of the European Union with the aim to "develop leadership competences of young people and support establishing and capacity building of local youth organisations in order to enable them to participate in community policy-making in rural areas of Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine and Portugal" (cymecop.eu, 2023). In March 2023, I was invited to present the Erasmus+ project and the handbook "You(th) Voice Matters", as an output work, along with representatives from the National Agency of Erasmus+ at the " VI Mostra de Educação e Formação de Santo Tirso", Portugal.
