Pedro Rabaça is a PhD student in Anthropology at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa / FCSH - Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He is currently working on his PhD thesis on the social and cultural context of Japan. His research is based on a very specific topic that has occupied anthropology a lot in the last decade: ontologies. By cross-referencing multidisciplinary articles and books, he aims to contribute to the development of anthropological theory. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in anthropology, both from ISCTE-IUL. During his bachelor's and master's degrees, he was the class delegate and served on the governing bodies of NEA, the anthropology student nucleus at ISCTE.
