Pegah Mohammadpour completed a Master’s degree (MSc) in Aerospace Engineering on July 1, 2018, at Amirkabir University of Technology, Department of Aerospace Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Aerospace Engineering on September 22, 2015, at K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. She has been pursuing a joint PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Universidade de Coimbra, Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica, and Geographic Information Technology at the University of Alcalá, Department of Geology, Geography and Environment, since September 18, 2020. She was awarded an FCT doctoral scholarship grant with reference number 2021.05971.BD. She is a researcher at the Associação para o Desenvolvimento da Aerodinâmica Industrial (ADAI-CEIF) (https://www.uc.pt/en/adai/ceif/) and the Environmental Remote Sensing Research Group (GITA) (https://geogra.uah.es/gita/en/). She has published five articles in Q1 journals and several conference papers and has received eight awards and honors. She has participated as a PhD Student Fellow in one project and as a Researcher in another project. She was also a former ambassador of entrepreneurship and technology at the University of Coimbra. Her research focuses on the application of remote sensing data (spectral, radar, and LiDAR) in forest fuel mapping and wildfire risk mitigation.
