Carla Rizzo is a mathematician who obtained her PhD from the Universities of Catania and Palermo in 2019, under the guidance of Professor A. Giambruno. She then worked as an invited assistant at the University of Palermo, teaching Linear Algebra and tutoring Bachelor students. She has also held post-doctoral positions at the Centre for Mathematics of the University of Coimbra and the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Palermo. Currently, she is a researcher at the Centre for Mathematics of the University of Coimbra. Dr. Rizzo's research interests lie in the theory of algebras with polynomial identities and their applications. She has been actively involved in the international scientific community, attending and organizing conferences in various countries, from Italy to Brazil.
