I have a bachelor's and master’s degree in disaster and human security management. I also hold another Master’s degree in Social Work with Children and Youth under the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Program, where, my master’s thesis was focused on ‘Ukrainian refugees’ family integration into the Slovak society'. Currently, I am pursuing PhD in International Studies. My proposed PhD thesis is ‘Protection 2 Integration (P2I): Portuguese Policy Response for the Integration of Ukrainian Refugees into the Labor Market’. Professionally, I worked as a Research Assistant at BRAC, Bangladesh University of Professionals, and Tiller Bangladesh, contributing to projects on forced migration and refugee integration, higher education and women empowerment, and sustainable environment development respectively. Internationally, I collaborated with Gateway & Partners, Latvia, and the East European Journal of Social Science and Politics, Hungary, focusing on policy research and market analysis. I have also been actively engaged in humanitarian work, volunteering at the Community Center of the Baptist Church in Slovakia, and supporting Ukrainian refugee children’s education and integration. My academic contributions include publishing two conference abstracts, five conference papers, two journal articles, and one newsletter article. I have presented at global conferences, such as the International Seminar on Contemporary Social Problems in Indonesia and the International Conference on the Rohingya Refugee Crisis in Bangladesh. Throughout my academic career, I have been awarded several prestigious scholarships and awards, including the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, the BUET JIDPUS Best Research Paper Award, and Dean’s Appreciation at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). As I advance in my academic and professional journey, I remain committed to conducting impactful research, influencing policy decisions, and fostering global collaboration to address pressing social and humanitarian challenges.
