Elisabetta De Giorgi is Assistant Professor at the University of Trieste. Her main research interests are parliaments from a comparative perspective, in particular, parliamentary opposition and the law-making process. She has published several articles in national and international journals – in Acta Politica, Government and Opposition, Journal of Legislative Studies, Italian Political Science Review, South European Society and Politics, among others – and book chapters. She has published the book "L'opposizione parlamentare in Italia" (2016) and also edited the volume "Opposition parties in European legislatures. Conflict or consensus?" (2018).
