André Figueiredo Pina obtained is Master's Degree in Biochemistry in 2017 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. Starting from October 2018, he attends the Doctoral Programme in Biomedicine by Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, developing his work about the study of the PLP synthase macrocomplex in the BioSIM Research Group. He has published 2 articles in international journals, and presented his work at several scientific events. Besides is main work, André has also been involved in the organization of several activities, as the EJIBCE 2018, the 6th iteration of a meeting that unite young scientists working on structural computation biology. He is also part of the administration of "FCiências", a portuguese website that writes about science in a simple and friendly way.
