Jorge Miguel Cibrão Ribeiro. Completed the BSc in Biologia Aplicada in July of 2015 by School of Sciences of the University of Minho and is Master in Health Sciences since October of 2018 . During this period, I developed a strong interest on the establishment of regenerative medicine strategies, with a particular focus for spinal cord injury applications. I had the opportunity to established a new model of spinal cord injury and introduce a the use of secretome from adipose mesenchymal stem cells as a therapeutic strategy. He was a researcher in Instituto de Investigação em Ciências da Vida e Saúde (ICVS), refining the administration of stem cell secretome based products for SCI regenerative medicine. Organized 2 event(s). Participated in 3 event(s). Participates and/or participated as Research Fellow in 1 project(s). Currently works in the area of Medical and Health Sciences with emphasis on Medical Biotechnology and on Technologies Involving the Manipulation of Cells, Tissues, Organs or the Whole Organism. In October of 2019 he started his PhD studies trying to combine the secretome from adipose mesenchymal stem cells and epidural stimulation as well dissecting the different mechanisms involved in the regenerative process.
