Ana Neves

I recently finished a Master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. In my thesis work, I had the opportunity to study gene expression changes during the aging of an environmentally relevant soil species (Enchytraeus crypticus), contributing to the incorporation of aging in an ecotoxicological perspective. During part of my MSc I upheld a research grant in a nanoinformatics project. During my bachelor (Biology) in the same university, I worked with soil ecotoxicology of nanomaterials with the same organism. I also had the opportunity to work with a project on the gut microbiome of aquaculture salmon in SLU, Uppsala, Sweden, as a final traineeship project in the BSc.
