Margarida Domingues attained her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in 2023, during which she conducted her MSc thesis at the Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences (iBB), focusing on the development of advanced 3D in vitro bone cancer models. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, also from IST, completed in 2021. Margarida's primary interests revolve around bioengineering strategies to advance in vitro cancer modelling and facilitate the discovery of novel anticancer therapies. During her time as a research assistant at iBB, Margarida (co-)authored three peer-reviewed publications and presented her work at several scientific conferences.
