Alexander Coutts is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Schulich School of Business, York University. His research areas are behavioral economics, experimental economics, and development economics. His research has been published in American Economic Review, Games and Economic Behavior, and Experimental Economics. He has been awarded a number of grants, including 240K euros (as Co-PI) for work studying beliefs in Guinea-Bissau. He has supervised 16 master's students (defended 2016-2020), and one doctoral student (defended: 2020).
