Ana Neto holds a PhD in Design (2024) from the Lisbon School of Architecture. She received a research fellowship to collaborate in REDES - Research and Education in Design Research Group, at the Lisbon School of Architecture, Universidade de Lisboa, and later a doctoral scholarship from FCT. She holds a degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts (Universidade de Lisboa) and took vocational training in Pattern Cutting. She has between 2014 and 2020 worked as a product developer in the clothing industry. Ana gave vocational training between 2018 and 2020, at the same time she began her doctorate journey. Her research is focused on how people engage with their clothes beyond the point of purchase and before disposal in order to understand how wearer-clothing relationships can last for longer.
