Ana Filipa Rodrigues Nogueira received her Bachelor's degree in Technologic Physics in 2021 and in 2022, her Master's degree in Physics Engineering, both from the Faculty of Sciences (FCUP) and Faculty of Engineering (FEUP) of the University of Porto. The master's thesis entitled "Sound characterization of urban environments by computational methods" was developed within the scope of the project Safe Cities - "Inovação para Construir Cidades Seguras". This work resulted in two articles' publications in Sensors, a scientific journal published by MDPI. Currently, she is a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at FEUP, under a Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) grant, a Research Assistant at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC), associated with the Visual Computing and Machine Intelligence (VCMI) research group, and also an Invited Assistant Professor at FEUP. Within her PhD, she has published four papers: one article in the Image and Vision Computing journal, another as a book chapter and two others as conference papers. She has been involved in the organisation of the two editions of INVICTA Spring School, a school that wants to become a European reference in state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, computer vision and pattern analysis topics. Also, she has co-supervised 3 MSc students, and is currently involved in two projects: CONVERGE and AI-Care4U. Her work is mostly focused on 3D Human pose estimation. To complement her knowledge, she invested in learning through online courses such as Beginning C++ Programming - From Beginner to Beyond in Udemy, Machine Learning (Stanford University) in Coursera, Intro to Machine Learning in Kaggle and, Python in Kaggle. Her main research interests lie in the fields related to Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
