Ana Filipa Rodrigues Nogueira received her Bachelor's degree in Technologic Physics in 2021 and in 2022, her Master's degree in Physics Engineering, both from the Faculty of Sciences (FCUP) and Faculty of Engineering (FEUP) of the University of Porto. The master's thesis entitled "Sound characterization of urban environments by computational methods" was developed within the scope of the project Safe Cities - "Inovação para Construir Cidades Seguras", with reference POCI-01-0247-FEDER-041435, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This work resulted in two articles' publications in Sensors, a scientific journal published by MDPI. Currently, she is a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at FEUP and also, a Research Assistant at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC), associated with the Visual Computing and Machine Intelligence (VCMI) research group. To complement her knowledge, she invested in learning through online courses such as Beginning C++ Programming - From Beginner to Beyond in Udemy, Machine Learning (Stanford University) in Coursera, Intro to Machine Learning in Kaggle and, Python in Kaggle. Her main research interests include Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
