Inês Sousa Marques holds a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon (2021), with a thesis on Philosophy of Landscape and War Literature, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Adriana Veríssimo Serrão. Previously, she obtained her BA degree in Philosophy at the same university, with a thesis on Arthur Schopenhauer and Emily Brontë. She currently teaches philosophy, psychology and social studies at high school level, and is a junior researcher at the Centre of Philosophy of the University of Lisbon. Inês’ academic interests have been guided by a focus on contemporary and continental philosophy, with special attention to topics related with Philosophy of Landscape, War Literature, the Brontës, and Queer Ecologies and Sexualities. Inês is also a musician and songwriter, being an artist selected for the “Fnac New Talents Music 2017”, promoted by Fnac Portugal.
