Luís Beirante is a lecturer at the Instituto Superior de Gestão e Administração de Santarém (ISLA Santarém), where he teaches Computer Programming II on the Higher Technical Professional Course in Information Systems Technology and Programming. He has a degree in Management Informatics from ISLA Santarém and is currently studying for a Master's degree in Web Technologies and Systems Engineering at the same institution. He holds CCNA: Introduction to Networks, CCNA: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials and Introduction to Cybersecurity certifications from the Cisco Networking Academy. Co-author of the scientific article “A web tool for representing algorithmic flowcharts and its support for pseudocode learning”, presented at the International Conference on Advanced Research in Technologies, Information, Innovation and Sustainability (ARTIIS 2024), to be published by Springer. His main areas of interest include software development, computer networks, cybersecurity, web development, information technology education and software quality.
