TERESA FERREIRA. PhD student from Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies and Biology Department (University of Aveiro). Completed a MSc in Management and Conservation of Natural Resources at Universidade de Évora (2022) and a BSc in Biology at Universidade de Lisboa, Instituto Superior de Agronomia (2019). During the MSc wrote a dissertation on the subject "Megafauna large-scale distribution patterns along the Gloria Fracture Zone (NE Atlantic)" which resulted in two scientific posters (one as co-author) presented at the 16th Deep-Sea Biology Symposium (2021) held in Brest. Successfully applied and participated in the course EUROFLEETS+ Floating University " Meeting societal needs for impartial evidence on the state and sustainable use of the ocean biological resources: the case of the Nephrops norvegicus (Norway lobster) " on board of the R/V Mário Ruivo (2021).
