In July 2010, the IR received his Ph.D degree from China which has been verified in University of Aveiro (UA), Portugal in 2016. He worked in a state-owned power plant and part-timed as an English teacher from Sept 2010 to March 2013 which caused his publication disruption in those three years. During the last 8 years working in UA after winning the FCT post-doc scholarship in 2012, he recovers with 40 refereed journal papers, most of which are in the top journals in the research field of renewable energy and solid oxide fuel cells. For example, besides Energy Environ. Sci, Joule, J Mater Chem A, Adv Func Mater, J Power Sources, ACS Energy Lett etc, he wrote 3 patents on his invented battery device which have been granted in WIPO, European Union and United States. Also, he is active in international conferences, where he gave 5 invited and 2 plenary talks. Besides, as evidence of recognition from the broad scientific community, the IR is the Lead Guest Editor for International Journal of Electrochemistry and peer-reviewer for several international journals in Electrochemistry. He is the organising and scientific committee member for: International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterials (2015-2020); International Conference on Graphene Technology (2016-2020); International Conference on Spintronics Materials (2017-2020) held in Aveiro which has attracted more than 2000 scientists from 100 more countries. Thanks to FCT’s mobility support, the IR has the chance to work in Beijing University of Technology, China, Curtin University, Australia and Porto Business School, Portugal. The different research groups, which are affiliated with Energy Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Department and Business School, enable him to acquire multidisciplinary expertise in chemistry, materials science, mechanics, nanotechnologies and business investment. In 2017, the IR made a disruptive battery invention in the lab of TEMA after years of trial and was awarded to join the COHiTEC program which focuses on accelerating science and technology into application, aiming at its capacity to transform the business potential of an idea into products and/or services that can resolve the urgent societal need in Portugal. The hatching product is named by the IR as Power Phoenix Battery, with a rare-earth system, which is stable, safe, and has reversible specific energy density 3 times of Li-ion battery. The IR won several prizes by his invention in competitions worldwide and was covered in the front page in the journal of Aveiro Economics. The most important ones are listed in the CV part. Power Phoenix Battery and the IR is widely reported in the University of Aveiro News, Agência Nacional de Inovação website, and was interviewed by LPM Portugal. Tau Capital, BP Portugal, EDP Capital, Caixa Capital from CGD all showed their interest in investing and we are negotiating to get funding to TEMA, University of Aveiro.
