Ana Carolina Andrade de Sousa. I completed the Degree in Biology in 2015 and the Master in Conservation Biology in 2017, both at the University of Évora. I have published 7 articles in peer reviewed journals. Organized or participated in more than 10 events of science communication. I work in the area of Biological Sciences with an emphasis on Biodiversity Conservation and Zoology, having my academic career focused on the study of African herpetofauna. I have experience in QGIS and ArcGIS, systematic and taxonomy of amphibians and reptiles, molecular and morphological analysis, fieldwork logistics and preparation. Presently, I am a PhD student at BIOPOLIS/CIBIO-InBIO, studying the snakes of São Tomé and Príncipe. Special interest in Biodiversity Conservation, Herpetology Collections, African Herpetofauna.
