Fábio André Matos

Fábio Matos is an Environmental Sciences and Engineering PhD student focusing on the topics of water quality and urban planning. Having completed an MSc in Geomaterials and Geologic Resources and a BSc in Biology and Geology, Fábio possesses skills and knowledge pertaining to multiple areas of natural sciences, to which the environmental sciences PhD is a great match. Additionally, Fábio is also a member of University of Aveiro's esteemed Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM). Methodical, organized and responsible, Fábio has already been involved in the creation of several articles for scientific journal publication, as well conference abstracts and presentations. In the course of his work as a researcher on the Urban Nature Labs (UNaLab) and INCCA (INtegrated Coastal Climate Change Adaptation for Resilient Communities) projects, Fábio has also helped write and edit several project reports, organized and facilitated multiple participatory workshop events, helped write a book, and spoke in an interview segment for a TV documentary series.
