Currently enrolled in a PhD program in the History of Philosophy at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, I hold a Laurea Magistrale (MA) in Filosofia e Forme del Sapere from the University of Pisa, completed in November 2024, and a Laurea Triennale (BA) in Philosophy from the same institution (2021). My Master’s dissertation, entitled “An Operating Metamorphosis: Signification and Latency in Merleau-Ponty and Nietzsche”, examined French phenomenology and Nietzschean thought in their interrelation, focusing on a critique of language and on the concept of an operative sphere functioning anonymously beneath processes of meaning formation. I have published an article titled “Unrest Crosses the Cave: On Culture, Anguish, and Natural Adaptation in Hans Blumenberg”, which explores Blumenberg’s metaphorological and anthropological thought through the myth of Cura, with sustained reference to Nietzsche’s philosophy and his genetic account of consciousness. I served as a Teaching Assistant for a course in Philosophy of Mind (Spring 2022), taught by Prof. D. Manca, focusing on Gilbert Ryle and the linguistic turn. In January 2023, I co-organized an academic event dedicated to Leo Strauss and Karl Löwith, addressing themes in political philosophy, philosophical anthropology, and the Nietzschean legacy in twentieth-century thought. In the same year, I participated in founding and coordinating a working group on philosophical and academic writing (papers, essays, theses), aimed at developing students’ skills in academic composition and critical engagement with written texts. In November 2025, I obtained the National Teaching Qualification in the fields of History and Philosophy for upper secondary schools. In December 2025, I took part in the Seminario Permanente Nietzscheano, organized by the Italian Institute for German Studies, which brings together a selected group of Italian experts in Nietzsche and contemporary philosophy. Since January 2026, I officially joined IFILNOVA (Universidade Nova de Lisboa, FCSH) as a membro collaborador in the Grupo de Estudos sobre Nietzsche and the Laboratório de Cultura e Estética. My research lies within theoretical philosophy, with particular attention to the history of modern and contemporary philosophy, phenomenology, and natural philosophy. I am currently working on metaphorology, the philosophy of expression, and the nature–culture dichotomy, with an eye toward ecological and biosemiotic perspectives.
