Dr. Fernando Santos is an adjunct professor at the Instituto Politécnico do Porto, Escola Superior de Educação in Portugal. His main areas of research include coaching, coach education, as well as positive youth development, social justice and mental health in youth sport. He currently serves as a coach developer at the Portuguese Hockey and Rowing Federations. For the last 9 years, Dr. Fernando Santos has developed numerous projects on a national and international scales, as well as published more than 50 research articles within this line of inquiry.
