Invited Assistant Professor since October 2025 at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University Lisbon. Holds a PhD in Mining, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (2022) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, with specialization in manufacturing processes, funded by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). Postdoctoral research experience in internationally funded projects, including CoSMIc – Complex Concentrated Silicides fabricated by Melt Infiltration approach, funded by the National Science Centre (NCN, Poland) under the OPUS 22 call, conducted at the Lukasiewicz Research Network – Kraków Institute of Technology. Previous teaching experience at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) (2018–2020). Author of 12 peer-reviewed articles in international journals, including 7 as first author, with publications in journals such as Journal of Materials Research and Technology and Surface and Coatings Technology. Experience presenting at international conferences and serving as reviewer for international scientific journals.
