2022/06/27 - 2022/06/27 Scientific Dissemination: Demonstration in Centro Escolar de Vale de Ílhavo, where the main goal was to teach kids from ages 3 to 10 about diatoms and their importance for the ecosystem, and also getting them interested in natural sciences. We took the kids to the mudflats of the Ria de Aveiro and showed them how we proceed to do the sampling of diatoms, as well as the laboratory work we do afterwards to get cell suspensions of these microalgae. https://www.ua.pt/pt/noticias/11/75791
