Ana Sofia Martins Serras completed the Integrated Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2014/12/04 by Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde Egas Moniz and is currently an effective member of the Ordem dos Farmacêuticos and student member of Sociedade Portuguesa de Farmacologia (SPF) and Sociedade Portuguesa de Células Estaminais e Terapia Celular (SPCE-TC). Is presently PhD student at the Research Institute for Medicines from the University of Lisbon (iMed.ULisboa). Has previously been the technical director of VF 1883 Pharmaceuticals and the responsible pharmacist in two pharmacies. Has authored 4 journal articles (3 as first author) and 2 book chapters, 9 conference abstract, 12 oral communications and 18 poster communications. Organized 1 event and participated in 2 scientific expeditions, namely a Summer School in Estonia and a Short-term Scientific Mission in Spain. Supervised 5 students and professionals at the pharmacy and was the tutor of 2 other students at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Works in Medical and Health Sciences with emphasis on Basic Medicine, namely Pharmacology and Toxicology.
