Daniel Ruivo Marques (PhD) is an Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Aveiro, Department of Education and Psychology (Portugal). Besides, he is an Integrated Researcher at the CINEICC - Center for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Behavioral Intervention, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Coimbra, Portugal. In 2023, Daniel took part in the Task Force of sleep experts for revising the European Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Insomnia (2023 update) headed by the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS). He serves as an ad hoc reviewer for over 80 scientific journals in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, sleep medicine, and neuroscience (e.g., Sleep, Sleep Medicine Reviews, Journal of Sleep Research, Cerebral Cortex, eClinicalMedicine – Lancet, Psychological Medicine, Psychological Assessment, NeuroImage, Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology, Psychiatry Research). His main research interests are sleep medicine, psychological assessment, psychometrics, cognitive-behavioral therapies, cognitive and affective neuroscience, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and quantitative data analysis.
