Cláudia graduated in Biochemistry, completed a Master's degree in Health Sciences, and earned a PhD in NeuroEpigenetics -
Ageing and Chronic diseases. During her PhD research, she discovered a key role for the TET3 enzyme in brain function, published
in top neuroscience journals and opened new routes to tackle neurological and neuropsychiatric (dys)function. She worked
as a European Funding Consultant at INOVA+, coordinating projects and assisting national and international clients - universities,
hospitals and companies - in developing H2020 R&D proposals. Afterwards, she managed research results and funding opportunities
as a Science and Technology Manager at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto. She co-founded and coordinated
the Office of Support to Intellectual Property & Services (GAPIS) and the ISPUP Gender Equality Working Group (GEWG). Currently,
she works as an International Funding Advisor at the University of Minho.
Cláudia holds certifications in Project Management, Research Management, and Intellectual Property.
