Cátia Pinheiro finished her Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition in July 2019 and in september of the same year was accepted into the PhD in Metabolism - Clinical and Experimental of the Faculty of Medicine of University of Porto. Despite having a short career, she already published two scientific papers as first author, one published in the British Journal of Nutrition and the other one on Porto Biomedical Journal and is a co-author in several other papers. Furthermore, she already presented three posters in national congresses. Currently, Cátia is a PhD student focused on the study of health and metabolic impacts of sustainable diets, such as the vegetarian e vegan diets and is a researcher of the ProNutri's Clinical Nutrition & Disease Programming group at CINTESIS (Center for Health Technology and Services Research).
