Clara F. Rodrigues (CR) is an Assistant researcher at Departamento de Biologia & CESAM, Universidade de Aveiro (UA). CR obtained a degree in Biology (2001), a MSc in Coastal Zone Sciences (2004) and a PhD degree in Biology (2009) from UA. Since CR has started her scientific research she has published 37 ISI papers and 1 other paper, with an h index of 18 and with 789 citations (excluding self-citations). These papers comprise topics as Bivalvia, Ophiuroidea or Nematoda taxonomy and ecology (including description of 8 new species), community structure, bacterial characterization and evolution of symbionts and application of stable isotopes to biological studies. CR participated in more than 29 international meetings, with one oral communication by invitation, 25 other oral communications and 15 poster presentations. CR also contributed for other 29 oral and 19 poster presentations in international meetings. CR was part of the local organizing committee of the 14th Deep sea biology symposium (14thDSBS, 2015). CR is Academic editor of PlosOne and Frontiers in Marine Science journals and is frequently invited for doing scientific reviewing in international journals. During her research career CR was team member of 5 international and 3 national projects and is currently team member of one international and three national projects. CR self-raised more than 240k to fund her career (grants/awards). CR has experience in supervising and co-supervising scientific research of undergraduate and graduate students. From this supervision, 7 MSc were already successfully defended.
