Joana Neves is an Assistant Professor at NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS). She holds a BSc, an MSc (specializing in Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence), and a PhD in Information Management, all from NOVA IMS. Her recent research focuses on social media use, digital privacy, and well-being, with particular attention to social media corrective behaviors (e.g., reduction and digital detox), privacy-related decision-making, consumer–brand relationships in digital contexts, and the links between social media use and mental health. She has published her work in specialized academic journals.
