João N.C. Gonçalves is an Invited Assistant Professor at the Department of Production and Systems of the University of Minho. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering (Optimization & Operational Research), a M.Sc. in Systems Engineering and a B.Sc. in Mathematics, all from the University of Minho, Portugal. His main research interests lie on Applied Machine Learning, Operations Research and Forecasting.
