Tomás Donadio is a PhD Candidate in Development Studies at the Institute of Social Sciences, Universidade de Lisboa (ICS-UL). His research is focused on critical urban studies, policy mobility theories and the social strand of smart city studies. Tomás has interdisciplinary knowledge, from development studies, urban studies and urban policy and politics to economics and social and human geography. Member of the Urban Transitions Hub and of the Environment, Territory and Society Research Group at ICS-UL. His work dissemination is escalating, with an article published in a geography journal and oral communications on political economy and smart city events. Tomás has professional experience in urban mobility, having worked in the public administration with pedestrian accessibility projects, coordinating activities of mixed methods research (focus groups, interviews and questionnaires), urban planning and public transport. Participates in academic events on social geography, political economy, technology and society, urban studies and development studies.
