Miguel Feijão Galrinho. Finished Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Aviero in 2020. He finished the Bachelor's with the project "Formulação de micropartículas por atomização de galactomananas - encapsulamento de proteínas com aplicação alimentar/farmacêutica" under the supervision of Dr. Cláudia Passos and Dr. Guido Lopes. He carried on with the studies at the university with a Master's in Biochemistry, specializing in Biomolecular Methods (2022). The Master's was completed with the thesis "Formulation of galactomannan microparticles as insulin carriers" under supervision of Dr. Manuel António Coimbra and Dr. Cláudia Passos. During Master's has already participate in different events such as the "ENEBIOQ" and the "Biochemistry Day" with the production of a winner poster. He also participated in the Webinar "Development of tools to support the pulmonary route as a non-invasive alternative for drug delivery" with a flash presentation. Currently is enrolled in a PhD programm in Biochemistry, and until this moment has been a part of two research grants. One, "COBY4HEALTH - Can coffee by-products decrease the risk of metabolic syndrome? A comprehensive approach to reduce waste and valorize health benefits" and the other "i9rCB - Processo contínuo inovador de produção de Negro de Fumo Recuperado Reforçante para uma economia circular". During the PhD has already participated in congresses such as GLUPOR, EPNOE junior, Ciência 2023 and Research Summit with already six posters presented and four oral presentations, two of them as speaker. Currently he is a co-author in an article entitled "Polysaccharide-based carriers for pulmonary insulin delivery: the potential of coffee as an unconventional source" published in the Pharmaceutics journal. At the moment he is working in a biochemistry and food chemistry research group at the University of Aveiro.
