of Maia. She is a full member of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists and a specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology
(OPP). PhD in Psychiatry and Health Psychology, postgraduate in Continuing and Palliative Care and Psycho-oncologist (APPO).
Certified trainer in the field of Clinical and Health Psychology, particularly in Psycho-oncology; Emotional Intelligence;
Emotion Management & Mindfulness; Wellbeing & Mental Health aimed at various audiences, namely educators, teachers, health
and social professionals. Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor (CBP). Professor at the University of Maia (UMAIA) and researcher.
Advisor and supervisor of academic internships and master's theses in the areas of Clinical and Health Psychology and Psycho-oncology.
Professional internship advisor to order (OPP). Participates as a psychologist and researcher in training and action research
projects in the areas of Clinical and Health Psychology and Psycho-oncology in partnership with educational establishments,
hospital centers and patient support associations, as well as health promotion and disease prevention in the community. She
is coordinator of the Mental and Social Health domain at Maiêutica Healthy Campus, University of Maia. Since 2024, she has
been president of the Pedagogical Council of the University of Maia.
