Teresa Pereira is an assistant professor at the Information Systems Department at University of Minho, Portugal. She graduates in Mathematics and Computer Science, and has a Ph.D. on Information Systems Technologies. Since 2002 she is member of Algoritmi R&D center, integrating the Information Systems and Technologies (IST) Group. Her main research interests include Information Security Management, Security Risk Management, Cybersecurity and Competency-based learning. Between 2017 and 2020, she was part of the Task Group Force of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the IEEE Computer Society (IEEE-CS), embracing the report development with the recommendations of curriculum competences in the area of computing (Computing Curricula 2020); she is also a member of the Multinational Cyber Defense Education and Training Project (MN CD E&T) NATO Smart Defense Project. She was the founder the International Conference in Internet of Everything (IoECon) being the chair of the event in 2022/2023/2024. She is a member of program committee of the European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security since 2019. She is the Erasmus+ Coordinator at the Information Systems Department, and vice-director of the MSc degree in Information Systems. She has been involved in the supervision of master and Ph.D. works. In the last 19 years have performed several Teacher and Staff Erasmus+ mobilities.
