PhD Candidate in Law at NOVA School of Law - NOVA University Lisbon, where she also completed her Master's Degree in Law and Security in 2019. Her doctoral research is funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and investigates the legal-philosophical nature of cyberspace as a legal heterotopia. She is a researcher at CEDIS – Research & Development Centre on Law and Society, an internal security auditor, and a freelance translator. Additionally, she is a member of AEQUALITAS: Justice, Democracy and Citizenship without Borders, a project funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), and a Junior Researcher in the CIDRA Network – Creating a Joint Infrastructure for Dialogue, Research and Advocacy between Europe and Africa, funded by the European Union. Currently, she is a visiting fellow at Tilburg University's Institute for Law, Technology and Society (TILT). She was the Project Manager of the Intra-Africa Pax Lusófona project, funded by the Education, Audiovisual, and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). She was also part of the Executive Coordination of the Master's Degree in Public Law and Sustainable Development at the University of São Tomé and Príncipe. From 2020 to 2023, she was a researcher at the NOVA Refugee Clinic – Legal Clinic. Between 2018 and 2019, she was awarded a grant by IAPMEI, I.P., under the StartUP Voucher Measure of the StartUP Portugal Programme, supporting an entrepreneurship project. She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2016). Her main research areas are Philosophy of Law, Sociology of Law, Human Rights and International Law.
