I am a Bachelor of Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC (2009), Master (2013) and Doctor (2017) in Materials Science and Engineering from the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science and Engineering - PGMAT (CAPES 7) also by UFSC. I have experience in the area of Chemistry and Materials Engineering, seeks interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of materials science, mainly in nanotechnology, which results in required and improved properties, with an emphasis on synthesis and processing. Acting mainly on the following themes: flexible polymeric membranes, polymeric/ceramic, and ceramic composites/ ceramic; in different routes of ceramic synthesis, in materials processing, with different forming techniques (casting, tape casting, gel casting, slip casting, uniaxial pressing), in the characterization of ceramic, composite and nanostructured materials, mainly in the planning of experiments looking for different properties and applications (variable expansion coefficient, high surface area, improvement of mechanical strength, pore design, recovery of industrial solid waste, photocatalytic, photoluminescence, adsorbents). My academic performance can be appreciated from the contributions in different domains. Research Projects and Funding: I played an active role in 6 grants, 2 contracts, and 7 additional collaborative initiatives, demonstrating an effective and impactful contribution to research and development. Scientific and Academic Contributions: My academic output, marked by 222 citations and a h-index of 8, includes 1 book, 4 conference abstracts, 7 oral presentations delivered, 9 conference papers, 13 conference posters, 21 journal articles, and 2 patents. Supervision: My academic supervision encompasses 3 ongoing master’s projects, 1 ongoing PhD project, and 1 industrial project. Mentorship and Tutorship: My mentorship efforts have contributed to the successful completion of 2 PhD projects, 3 M.Sc. thesis, 3 scientific initiation projects, and - support for 2 Erasmus or undergraduate thesis projects. Jury Participation: I was a jury member in 13 integrative projects for the Technical Course in Chemistry, 1 graduation and 1 PhD thesis.
