Marco Medeiros is a highly qualified professional in the field of Materials Engineering. He completed his Master's degree in Materials Engineering in 2013 at the University of Aveiro and obtained his Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2011, also from the same university. Throughout his career, has demonstrated an ability to produce relevant scientific material, resulting in publications. Author of 4 articles in specialized journals, where he was the author of one article and has 1 book chapter as author, he participated as a Research Fellow in 5 projects. His work focuses on Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering. He spent a year on Erasmus in Poland, where he began studying perovskite, and later studied magnetoelectric composites of hexaferrites and perovskite. He collaborated with 13 colleagues in co-authoring scientific papers, demonstrating his ability to work collaboratively and his knowledge in the field. He gained valuable experience at the Center for Research in Ceramics and Glass, where he received training in additive manufacturing and scanning electron microscopy, as well as specialized courses to increase his knowledge in 3D printing areas. He participated in various business projects, including additive manufacturing in porcelain, low-pressure injection of ceramics, metals, and composites. He developed formulations and improved the processing of polymer binder elimination. His academic career continued at the university, where he conducted research and developed materials in the areas of ceramics, biomaterials, and cellulose, in collaboration with companies in funded projects, highlighting innovation in additive manufacturing systems for powders, where he developed and optimized organic binders for cellulose material production. Furthermore, he completed the initial training course for trainers with the aim of improving communication with potential students. He supervised 3 master's students in additive manufacturing projects of ceramics and participated in business projects as a fellow. His professional trajectory is marked by dedication to research and significant contributions to the advancement of materials science.
