Psychologist and PhD candidate in Psychology, specializing in Psychotherapy and Psychopathology at the University of Minho, and doctoral researcher at the Psychology Research Centre (CIPsi). Research interests include brief and accessible psychological interventions, writing-based approaches, and processes and mechanisms of psychological change across clinical and non-clinical settings. Before pursuing a career in psychology, worked for more than 20 years in multinational companies in the payments industry, holding positions in product development, program management, information technology, and digital payments across Latin America, Europe, and the United States. Holds a Master's degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Minho (2021), a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidade Paulista (2018), recognized by the University of Minho, an Executive MBA from Insper (2009), and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1999). Fluent in Portuguese (native) and English, with intermediate proficiency in Spanish and basic knowledge of Italian.
