Micael Rebelo completed the master¿s in Mechanical Engineer on 2020/07/06 at the University of Aveiro (UA), with the dissertation "Accident reconstruction involving pedestrians and motor vehicles". His final course grade is respectable for the course requirements and the several extracurricular R&D projects he participated in (e.g., team leader for the university's formula student team). Since June 2019, he has been a research fellow at the Group on Emissions, Modelling and Climate Change from UA. Despite having recently started his professional career in the research area (less than one year), he is already the author of 2 articles accepted for publication and co-authored 2 articles in preparation for specialized journals. He participated in 6 international conferences, 4 as an author, 3 of which he has presented and 1 with a poster presentation. His research areas include the connection between Mechanical Engineering and Environmental Engineering, namely: Mobility, Automatic and connected systems, Emissions, Climate change, Air quality, Traffic management. He participated as a research fellow in a Life + project. Currently participates in 3 research projects, 2 national and 1 UIA. He also has experience in organizing and participating in events. Holds 3 prizes. He is resilient and rigorous in his work. Currently has a PhD grant from FCT and is enrolled in a doctorate in Energy Systems and Climate Change.
